The reason for this is that at these times the blood cortisol levels are lowest . Otherwise, cortisol is a hormone that revives our body and is most produced when we are under stress. Its production is most intense when we awaken, between midnight and 14:00 and between 17:30 and 18:30.
When we drink coffee during the heaviest cortisol production, the body automatically begins to produce less cortisol and relies on caffeine as a means of brining which creates dependence on it.
Also, there is a possibility to start drinking larger quantities of coffee because one cup will no longer be sufficient and too much caffeine has a bad effect on normal heart function and can even lead to a heart attack.
